The pack is the media
These five activations all started on-pack: a scratch reveal, a limited drop, a store-only bonus, a receipt match, and a shareable win state. None of them asked shoppers to download anything. The reward landed in the same session as the scan, which is why basket uplift showed up in the same week — not a month later in a CRM report.
The common thread was instant proof. Shoppers saw a prize, a second SKU offer, or a queue-jump within seconds. That closed the loop between shelf and checkout while the product was still in hand.
What to copy, what to skip
Copy the speed and the single-scan rule. Skip layered mechanics that need a receipt upload plus an email plus a code from a till slip. If the value is not obvious at the shelf, it will not survive the aisle.
